From time to time, you may have the opportunity to participate in contests organized by PALLMANN GmbH, such as at events, trade fairs, on our website, or on our social media pages. In this context, PALLMANN GmbH processes your personal data.

Legal Basis and Purpose of Collection and Processing
Personal data provided to PALLMANN GmbH as part of the contest is stored, processed, and used exclusively for conducting and managing the contest. The processing is based on your consent, which you provided by participating in the contest in accordance with Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Additionally, under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, we have a legitimate interest in identifying multiple entries and attempts at fraud. Furthermore, without address data, contacting the winners or delivering the prize would not be possible.

Types of Personal Data
To carry out the contest, Uzin Utz processes certain personal data such as your first name, last name, address, phone number, email address, or date of birth. The specific personal data collected and processed depends on the contest form or respective post.

Recipients of Personal Data
The data is shared with the employees responsible for organizing the contest, to the extent necessary for fulfilling its purpose. The data will not be shared with third parties.

Retention Period / Deletion
Personal data is deleted after the contest has been fully concluded. If you exercise your right to deletion before the contest ends, further participation in the contest will no longer be possible.

SUBSCRIPTION TO OUR NEWSLETTER

As part of the contest, there may be an option to subscribe to our newsletter. We collect your data to send the newsletter you subscribed to. This is permitted under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, based on your consent.

PALLMANN GmbH regularly informs its customers and business partners about the company’s offers via a newsletter. The newsletter can generally only be received if (1) the individual has a valid email address and (2) has registered for the newsletter subscription. For legal reasons, a confirmation email using the double opt-in procedure is sent to the email address initially provided for newsletter registration. This confirmation email verifies that the owner of the email address has authorized the receipt of the newsletter.

When registering for the newsletter, we also store the IP address assigned by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) of the system used by the individual at the time of registration, as well as the date and time of registration. This data collection is necessary to trace any possible misuse of an individual’s email address at a later date and serves the legal protection of the data controller.

The personal data collected during the newsletter subscription process is used exclusively for sending our newsletter. Additionally, subscribers may be informed by email if necessary for the operation of the newsletter service or registration, such as in the case of changes to the newsletter offer or technical conditions. No personal data collected as part of the newsletter service is shared with third parties. 

The subscription to our newsletter can be canceled by the individual at any time. Consent to store personal data provided for the newsletter subscription can be revoked at any time. A corresponding link for withdrawal of consent is included in every newsletter. Additionally, it is possible to unsubscribe directly on the website of the data controller or to communicate this request in another way to the data controller.
