Data Protection Information Event Recordings
When you visit our event, we collect and process personal data in the form of photographs and films. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) stipulates that we are obligated to inform you of the type and scope of processing and your rights at the time the data is collected. We make this information available to you in accordance with Art. 13, 14 GDPR below.
I. Data controller
Data controller is Pallmann GmbH.

II. Legal basis and purpose of the collection and processing
Photographs and films taken at this event will be used for reporting and marketing purposes and will subsequently be produced and published in various media, such as radio, social media, the Internet/website, press releases, newsletters, brochures, print products, etc. This is permitted in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR because we have a legitimate interest in our public relations work.
Since you are attending a public event, we assume that from your point of view there are no general reasons against taking photographs or films and processing them for the purposes described.
In addition, we will use the photos for internal post-processing of the event and for internal training purposes. This is permitted in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f GDPR because we have a legitimate interest in the quality assurance of our event.
Images which we need to assume that you have a high interest of not being recorded and not being published, will be processed only with your consent, Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR.
III. Types of personal data
For this purpose, we process photographs and film footage of you.
IV. Recipients of personal data
During processing, the data will be made available to the employees of the event entrusted with the organisation, insofar as this is necessary to fulfil the purpose. The data will also be transfered via our internal IT system to the marketing departments within the UZIN UTZ Group. Moreover, data is transfered externally to the radio and press. Besides, the information is published on the Internet, including on social media channels such as facebook or Instagram.
V. Duration of storage / deletion
Personal data will be deleted as soon as they are no longer needed for the purpose of processing, unless statutory retention periods stipulate otherwise.
Images published on the Internet are generally deleted from our pages within 3 years.
VI. Rights of data subjects
You are entitled to the following rights:
- the right of access in accordance with Article 15 GDPR,
- the right to rectification in accordance with Article 16 GDPR,
- the right to erasure in accordance with Article 17 GDPR,
- the right to restriction of processing in accordance with Article 18 GDPR,
- the right to data portability in accordance with Article 20 GDPR,
- the right to appeal to a supervisory authority in accordance with to Article 77 GDPR
- the right to revoke a given consent at any time without affecting the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
If we base the processing of personal data on a weighing of interests, you may object to the processing pursuant to Art. 21 GDPR. The objection is to be met in whole or in part if there are valid reasons to oppose further processing. Please inform us of these grounds with your objection. We will then examine the situation and either discontinue or adapt the processing or inform you of the important reasons for the continuation of the processing.
